Help with money and housing

Money and housing worries are often the biggest cause of stress and anxiety when people lose their jobs.

If you are over 18, unemployed and looking for work, or working less than 16 hours a week, you may qualify for Jobseekers Allowance.

Your claim needs to be lodged with Jobcentre Plus.
You can call 0800 0 55 66 88 or visit its offices (30-35 Edward St, Brighton BN2 0LN and Boundary House, Boundary Road, Hove BN3 7HD).

When you phone or visit you will need your National Insurance number and details of your rent or mortgage, your past or present employment, and any other income and savings.
