Free Health MOTs at work

To help keep your staff fit and healthy we offer free NHS health checks in your workplace.

These 'health MOTs' follow national NHS guidelines and are aimed at men aged over 40 years old in Brighton and Hove in the first instance.

Health checks are carried out by qualified nurses and assess:

  • Blood pressure
  • BMI
  • Calculation of risk of heart disease
  • Cholesterol
  • Waist circumference

They also include:

  • Healthy lifestyle advice
  • Referral to GP or other free services

Small and medium sized businesses without occupational health support are prioritised on a first come basis.

 

Stress Management Training

Less Stress More Success!

To help employers reduce stress in the workplace we are offering employers free training aimed at people managing others.

  • Senior managers
  • Line managers
  • Team Leaders and HR
  • Health and Safety
  • Occupational Health
  • Trade Unions

The training will be delivered by stress management consultants and cover areas such as:

  • identifying and reducing stress in the workplace
  • stress risk assessments
  • legal responsibilities
  • and developing stress action plans

New dates for 2009/10 soon to be announced.
